IMPACT (International Movement Against Cancer and Tobacco) India is a grassroots public health initiative that began in 1993 with a simple, powerful belief: that health is a right, not a privilege. Founded by a surgeon who saw the need to go beyond the operating room, IMPACT has grown into a dynamic, youth-led movement dedicated to cancer care, tobacco control, and public health equity.
Since 2016, IMPACT has been led by two sisters—now its Directors—who have expanded its vision to include a wide range of responsive, community-driven programs across Gujarat and beyond.
